Cis hate is really a dumb idea, like I get it there are a lot of shitty people who are cis, but I’m sure if you look around there are some shitty trans people too.

Point is, its not just on us to accept you, or you to accept us. Deciding one is better than the other won’t get us any closer to equality or peace.

shitty trans people are not as much of a danger as shitty cis people because shitty trans people are not, by large, able to reinforce and strengthen the transphobia and cissexism in this society the way cis people are

there is nothing wrong with trans people deciding that being trans is better than being cis when?? everyone else is screaming the exact opposite at the top of their lungs

since when have cis people been harmed by trans people not “accepting” them (but really when has a trans person ever had to accept a cis person at all. because the way this society is built up, it’s not possible for the oppressed to “accept” the oppressor. they are already basically forced to from the moment they are born.)

you know what will get us closer to equality and peace? when cis people, like you, stop trying to dodge accountability for the fact that you’re a seriously horrible bunch. when you stop trying to push this rhetoric, that clearly makes it clear that you think trans people are at equal fault here. that we need to work to accept cis people, too, and that’s our burden. (wtf?)

equality and peace will come a lot closer when people like you stop acting like you have any right to tell people regularly stepped on how to respond to that

whether it’s with anger or whatever they would like

cis people are. not. ever. harmed for being cis. in any way. and they are not harmed by “cis hate.”

I just want to say, I know that on the whole, cis people are just awful. I don’t intend to dodge that at all. Only in the last few years did I realize what bigoted asses we can be.

And you are correct, it isn’t on the trans community to accept us, that was poor phrasing. The acceptance portion was directed at cis people and transphobics. Its our burden to be nothing short of supporting and accepting, and in that, we have all failed spectacularly.

  I’m also at fault for not explaining this is not a political stance. This is a personal philosophy. I, personally, accept the responsibility for the mistakes I have made regarding the LGBT community I somewhat stupidly hoped that I could set an example for even one person to follow: If it isn’t your body, your mind, and your identity, then you have no say, and you might as well treat that person with respect. They sure as shit have earned it.

I also realize just how pompous and self involved I sound here, I do apologize. It’s not easy to form opinions without doing so.
